  Unfortunately its not getting any better , my partner and I used to go there to eat regularly but then the food standard dropped right off , we revisited tonight after hearing that there was a change of menu and chef , place was half full and was told would be a 25 minute wait for snitzels , hmmm ok , sat upstairs, music to loud to hear yourself think so moved downstairs.

  Inexpensive hotel near the main road. Restaurant with tasty food for a reasonable price. Shopping markt and a small casino included. All the time lively operation. Pretty amazing.

  Unfortunately wont recommend this hotel anymore as is a shame as we only live 3 mins away and used to enjoy going there .

  Shortland Hotel Bistro is AMAZING!! Only 5mims from Jesmond, service is superb. Always so friendly & cheerful. My go-to place for a good old schnitty!

  Food arrived , snitzels burnt , mash potato dry as and vegies tough as teak , totally unenjoyable and left it there .
